Spirits of homosexuality left Randy Levy when he surrendered to God

Randy was born into a lukewarm Christian family. His childhood was marred by physical abuse from his mother, who was in turn beaten by his father.

As he grew, he began to develop crushes on boys. In high school, he began to identify as gay and starting coming out gradually, first to his friends. Encouraged by the positive response, at age eighteen he came out to his family as well, resulting in his mother kicking him out of the house.

Randy moved in with a boyfriend and embarked on a lifestyle of promiscuity, partying, getting high, and drinking nearly daily.

As he approached his mid-twenties, he began desiring a long-term, committed relationship. He found a like-minded man, and they moved to California.

There, his partner’s parents insisted that they meet with the apostles of their church. Though scared of rebuke, Randy and his partner obliged and found themselves lovingly welcomed. Inspired, they decided to attend Sunday service. Randy witnessed God’s power on display – healings, deliverances of demons, and speaking in tongues.

Randy realized “God is real.” He decided to embark on a “journey of getting to know who God was.” He attended church and tried deliverance, but no demons ever manifested.

All this time, Randy and his partner continued clubbing, drinking, and doing marijuana. Randy began experiencing blackouts of violent rage when he drank, resulting in physical fights. During one of these episodes, he was arrested for domestic violence after nearly killing his boyfriend.

His cellmate in jail told him he would be doing extended time for domestic violence. Randy fasted, trusting Jesus that he would be freed, even vowing to stop being gay. On the day he was supposed to receive his court date, he was released, all charges miraculously dropped.

Randy and his partner reconciled. Periodically, Randy doubted the morality of his sexuality. He searched to find out for sure if homosexuality is a sin but did not reach a firm conclusion. Eventually, he asked God to cause him and his partner to break up their relationship if it was sinful.

Then, Christmas day arrived, and Randy and his boyfriend separated after nearly getting into a fight. Randy spent Christmas alone and depressed until the church apostles suddenly contacted him to tell him they were coming to take him to church the next day.

At church, Randy received a prophetic word. A lady told him that “God is saying come back to Him,” and that God has “always been with [him] since the beginning of [his] journey.” Struck that she used the word “journey,” which he used in his prayers, Randy was filled with joy, certain that the word was from God.

Upon returning home, Randy worshiped God, delved into His Word, and looked up deliverances online. After three days of doing this, he surrendered all to God – his homosexuality, pornography, marijuana, cigarettes, sex, and drugs. Randy felt a loving presence, and he started to gag and shake as he underwent deliverance. A voice told him, “They’re leaving you now,” and he screamed and cried as a “heaviness” went from him.

Afterward, he felt light and peaceful, his mind unusually free of intrusive voices. Randy continued to undergo deliverance gradually and to serve God. At the time of his testimony, he confirms that God has delivered him of sexual interest in men and replaced this with attraction to women. Randy mentioned he would like to have a wife and children at some point.

God saved LGBTQ activist Rosaria Butterfield and delivered her from homosexuality

Rosaria grew up in a “liberal Catholic household and school.” In college, Rosaria dated men but experienced romantic feelings toward other women. Her lesbian friends suspected she was gay, and Rosaria ultimately agreed and began dating women.

At one point, Rosaria decided to write a book exploring why Christians hate homosexuality. For research purposes, she needed to read the Bible, a book she considered “misogynistic, patriarchal, racist.”

She reacted with anger, outrage, and confusion to the contents of the Bible. Her thought regarding the call to repent of sin went along the lines of “How can I repent of a sin that’s me?”

Rosaria was neighbors with a pastor, Ken Smith, and she sought his help with the Bible. With Ken’s guidance, she noticed that “the Bible, and especially the words of Jesus, were starting to work on [her].”

Rosaria discussed her concern that Jesus could be real with a friend, Jill, a former Presbyterian minister who had left his family to embrace a new identity as a trans-woman. Jill first tried to dissuade Rosaria from her project, but then he provided her with a collection of books he had from seminary. When Rosaria noticed his former name, Matthew, on the books, she was struck that, contrary to the LGBTQ claim that they’re “not hurting anybody,” he had “abandoned a wife and he has children out there without a father.”

Feeling that the project was turning her life upside down, Rosaria decided to give up on it. Ken didn’t give up on her, though. He continued to show up in her life, bringing books or food to share. Used to transactional relationships among her LGBTQ peers, Rosaria was touched by this loving behavior.

A turning point came when Ken discussed Hebrews 4 with her. Rosaria recounts that verses 11-13 were her “undoing,” when she was faced with the reality of the Bible knowing her better than she does herself. She began reading the Bible herself.

Rosaria “was still stuck on how to repent of something [she] thought [she] was.” When she brought this up to Ken, he responded, “Well, maybe it’s a false identity.” Then, he referred her to Romans 7, which provided further breakthrough.

Perceiving that she had become a “closet Christian,” Rosaria eventually decided to come out as a Christian, and she “committed [her] life to Jesus.” While she notes that she did not experience an instant change, the title of the video speaks to the change that did indeed come. Since, she has met and married a pastor and has three children with him.

Stacy Olney asked God to make her repentance from homosexuality real and He did

While in college, Stacy was into parties and advocating for homosexuality. However, she did attend church for maybe two years at the insistence of her partner’s Christian mother.

Whenever the pastor would point out that homosexuality is a sin that must be repented of, Stacy would have a private panic episode. She would distort what the Bible said in order to keep bad feelings at bay, but to little avail because of the Bible’s clarity on its stance on homosexuality.

Once, when she was en route to a New Year’s eve party, Stacy stopped at her girlfriend’s mother’s home to leave a gift. Her girlfriend’s mother received her inside and tearfully presented a frightful scenario to her – “Please just think of yourself standing before Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, on the Judgment Day and think to yourself what you’re going to say to Him when He asks you what you’ve done with His Word.”

Stacy was unable to answer her. After she left, she forwent the party. She stayed in her car for about 6 hours, praying and reading the Bible. She asked God “to just make [her] repentance real.” At the time of her testimony, she says, “And the Lord met me and He was faithful, and from that moment, He started changing me into a new creation.”

Stacy now has Jesus in her life, she is now blessed with more friends than she previously had, and she is no longer in conflict with the Bible.

Ronald McCray was freed from homosexuality after dedicating his life to God

As a child, Ronald felt rejected by his drug addicted father, who showed him little attention. Making matters worse, a male relative molested him. Ronald began to experience same-sex attraction. In his high school years, Ronald started to get involved in gay relationships, and by the time he reached maturity, he had become immersed in the gay lifestyle.

Ronald depended upon his gay partners for love, yet “he felt unsatisfied and empty.” He did not go to church because he doubted God would want him. However, due to his roommate, he did start to attend church. There, he was drawn in by the love he was shown.

Then, while en route to a club, Ronald and his friends were held at gunpoint by robbers, one of whom verbalized an intention to kill them. In his mind, Ronald sought Jesus’ help. He repented for his lifestyle and pledged to serve Him if his life was spared. Miraculously, the robbers left, leaving Ronald and his friends unharmed.

At church, Ronald “asked Jesus to restore his life,” and he repented of every known sin. Ronald was filled with the Holy Spirit. Afterward, Ronald received emotional healing through God’s Word, as taught through a mentor at church.

The homosexual attraction did not go away immediately but rather dissipated over time as he resisted temptation. Ronald eventually fell in love with a woman from his church. Today, he is married to her and has a son.
